Day 1
: Delhi
Arrive Delhi by International flight Meeting on arrival and
transfer to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 2 : Delhi - Jaipur
Morning city tour of Old and New Delhi. Covering India Gate,
Parliament House, Akshardham Temple, Lotus Temple, President
House, Qutab Minar, National Museum. In the evening drive to
Jaipur. Arrive Jaipur and check in at the hotel. Overnight at the
hotel.
Day 3 : Jaipur
After breakfast, excursion to Amber Fort. Elephant ride from the
foothills of the Aravallis to the fort entrance. Amber Fort : At a
distance of 11 kms from Jaipur, Amber was the ancient capital of
Jaipur state. Construction of the fort began in 1592 by Raja Man
Singh, the Rajput commander of Akbar's army and is a superb
example of Rajput architecture. Afternoon, city tour of Jaipur.
Visit the City Palace which has museum having an extensive
collection of art, carpets, enamel ware and weapons; Jantar Mantar
- the observatoyr built my Maharaja Jai Singh in 1728 and the
façade of Hawa Mahal. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 4 : Jaipur - Agra
Morning drive to Agra en route visit Fatehpur Sikri. Arive Agra
and check in at the hotel. Later you will be given the city tour
of Agra including visit to the world famous Taj Mahal. Overnight
at the hotel.
Day 5 : Agra - Varanasi
Transfer to the airport in time to connect flight for Varanasi. In
Varanasi, meeting and assistance on arrival and transfer to the
hotel. Later excursion to Sarnath. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 6 : Varanasi
Early morning boat ride on river Ganges followed by the city tour
of Varanasi. Rest of the day at leisure to explore this city on
your own. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 7 : Varanasi - Delhi
Transfer to the airport in time to connect flight for Delhi. In
Delhi, meeting and assistance on arrival and transfer to the
International airport to connect your onward flight |
